On West Pico Boulevard in Los Angeles, Honda's initial US sales office was only a little shop front. Shortly after, due to Honda's quick expansion, a formal corporate headquarters was built in 1963. The new location in Gardena, California served as the starting point for Honda's upcoming phase of American expansion. The Gardena vest is evidence of how Honda's branding has developed in America.
