Dark blue, fleece lined, soft touch fabric - 97% polyester - 3% spandex. Embroidered period correct artwork with red, white and blue striping.
In September 1959, American Honda launched its sales operations from a storefront on West Pico Boulevard in Los Angeles, employing only eight people. The Dream, Benly, and the Honda 50, which had just made its Japanese debut, were the company's flagship models. The monthly sales goal, on the other hand, was far from insignificant. It was quickly set to a lofty 1,000 units.
The artwork on this jacket pays homage to American Honda's early branding from the Pico Era, beginning in 1959 as it entered the US market.
